Singing Day – Heavenly Choruses
Our next singing day will be on Saturday 12th October 2024 from 10.30 to 5.00pm (registration open from 9.45am). It’s in the beautiful Altrincham United Reform Church, in Hale, Cheshire. Do put the date in your diary now!
The day is entitled “Heavenly Choruses” and we’ll be singing a variety of popular choruses along with some lesser known ones, including Haydn (The Heavens Are Telling), Bruckner (Locus Iste), Faure (Cantique), Mozart (Ave Verum), Handel (Zadok the Priest) and Parry (I Was Glad), with our musical director Steven Roberts, ending with a free performance to complete the day at 4.30. You are welcome to invite friends and family to see our performance at the culmination of the day.
